A Night Under a Million Stars

The campsite sat at 4,200 meters above sea level.

As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the temperature dropped rapidly. We gathered around a small campfire while the last traces of daylight painted the peaks in shades of gold and crimson.

One by one, stars began appearing across the sky until the entire Milky Way stretched above us like a glowing river.
